Dr. Parker established Parker Cornea in 1997, within the UAB Callahan Eye Foundation Hospital. Parker Cornea performs procedures and treatments that provide patients with the best possible vision as quickly, comfortably and cost effectively as possible.

Parker Cornea specializes in the treatment of keratoconus, Fuchs’ dystrophy, cataracts, glaucoma, corneal scars and opacities, corneal stem-cell deficiency, failed corneal transplants, intraocular lens complications, corneal and conjunctival infection and inflammation, benign and malignant corneal and conjunctival tumors, ocular burns and other hereditary corneal dystrophies.

Parker Cornea procedures include DMEK and DSAEK for the treatment of Fuchs’ dystrophy, accelerated corneal cross-linking for keratoconus, no-stick corneal transplants, no-stich cataract surgery, Intacs implants, intraocular lens exchange, ocular surface reconstruction, amniotic membrane transplants, removal of conjunctival and corneal tumors, laser surgery, glaucoma surgery and anterior, posterior and full thickness corneal transplants.
